FACO was named after André Fahl and Bernd Coords and was first founded as FACO Metalltechnik oHG in Ennepetal in 1999. Starting off as a industrial sales agency/industrial representative for different manufacturers of metal products such as metal sheets, expanded metals and profiles, the company proceeded to focus on metal processing with the aid of CNC-controlled sheet metal- and pipe processing machines and thus managed to establish itself as a supplier for the industry, handicraft and trade.
In order to better meet the customer's needs in the metal work area, the range of products was extended to balustrade components with corresponding pipes and rods in 2006. Additional machines were bought to provide further processing and surface treatment of the round stock.
In 2008 FACO bought the company GZ Edelstahltechnik GmbH, which had its place of business in Herford. In december that year the whole company was moved to Ennepetal. With the newly acquired employees and machines FACO was able to enhance its know-how regarding metal working and welding technology.
The relocation of the business to its new adress Aufsicht 13 in Ennepetal in 2015 further enabled the company to adapt the production area to the increased demand for internal logistics and space.
